Bass Tracker TX17 Bass Boat (40 hp Mercury) First run in home lake

My Dad’s old Bass Tracker TX17 (that sat devoid of being started out for 5 years) brought back to life and from Arkansas to Georgia. This its first run in Ga. The 40 hp mercury will run 35+

    @creekmiata Not really. From that boat ramp the place I go is about 5 miles away. With a full 13 gal. tank it sucks out about 80% of the tank around trip, only 10 miles.

    I just bought a Tx17 with a 80hp Merc and it is scary fast. The 40 looks like a better fit and should be easier on the gas.

    LOL! Cool little boy. Nice boat too. I’ve a got a starcraft with a 40 merc. Do about 25mph.
