I have a 2007 honda Pilot 2wd ex and just wanna know if the vehicle can tow a 2007 ranger bass boat with 200 hp? and do I will need the cooler program for the power steering and radiator or I can do without it? please give me detail… thanks!

whats the weight of boat/trailer??? search in ur owners manual…it will inform you>>> id say 3500 pounds is ok with correct hitch…boat ought to weigh less than that.

I would look in the owners manual as well as the rating on the hitch you have on the Pilot. If you are still unsure, I recommend calling your local U-Haul and asking them. Before you do though, find the weight of the boat+trailer; they should be able to tell you if your car can tow it.
A transmission cooler is always recommended for towing with a smaller vehicle such as yours, especially if you are going any length of distance (you might already have one though, it looks like a small (<1 sq ft) radiator attached to your regular radiator). You will NEVER need a cooler for your power sttering (plus your honda should already have a basic cooling system for power steering, my 93 Accord did at least and you have a small SUV).
A Honda Pilot 2WD can tow 3500 pounds. The weight of a Ranger Bass Boat varies considerably. A 19 footer with trailer comes in at 5000 pounds, so that would exceed it. Need to look at the dry weight of the boat and trailer with engine, and look at the max towing capacity of the truck (GVWR).
When they are saying how much wieght your car can handle they did not tell you that the 3500 lbs is the amount of tongue wieght your car can handle not how much it can pull. YOUR SUV CAN TOW THIS BOAT!!!! the tongue(weight of the part you hook to your car) weight on your bass boat is probobly not even a hundred pounds. The thing is thought you probobly do not want to pull this boat with your bumper you would want to get a hitch to go with it all you should need is a one inch for your suv(cost of about one hundred with installation). It will put drag on your motor but your suv is able to tow a boat of this size.
