Question by i wonder: where can i find maintenance and repair info for my 1994 champion bass boat and 200 hp mercury outboard?

This is a large and great vessel you have. A lot of the maintenance can be accomplished by you however repairs should be done by a Merc mechanic. A marina will have workers knowledgeable in boat repairs, electronics, fiberglass, etc.
You can find help through the Merc website or look in your manuals. Also and easy way to find help is to ask other boaters you see during your travels or on the water fishing.

I’ve had a Champion bass boat forever, but today I bought an aluminum G3 boat that was so cheap I couldn’t pass it up. The G3 is aluminum. What are the pros and cons?

Nicely…… You can constantly recycle the G3 for some money if you get into a pinch…… It would take a complete bunch of empty tall-boy’s to make that kind of scratch!

If, it have 1, it may be beneath the Dash. Some things use an inline fuse, and some have a fuse at the battery. All I know.

I don’t know if this is necessarily the answer you are searching for, but I have heard poor factors about Champion boats constructed around that year. When I was looking for a employed boat I had seen a lot of reports about these hulls not getting up to par around that year, since of Champion restructuring their organization and how they took short cuts around the manufacturing of the boats. I saw a handful of bay boats that the transoms just fell appropriate off and it usually seemed to be a 99 model. Like I said I don’t know if its true or not, but just some food for thought.
