Looks like a great day out.. Over here all is good! My sons surgery (13th October) went really well and he’s currently moving about on crutches, awaiting his first limb fitting in 5 – 6 weeks.. Sadly Barney is no longer with us though, we had to return him to the rescue center after 7 years with us, due to him becoming very unreliable and biting my father-in-laws hand severly (hosptal visit and stitches). Barney is much missed but he is happy at least, and may be re-homed yet.. we hope so!! :)

  16. phekwig says:

Very nice lake footage, Nancy! Why was nobody waterskiing behind that fast boat?

  17. nancyleeould says:

That bay can be as flat as a pancake most days Pappy…and it is filled with Muskie. But I only caught bass. It’s a 60 Merc but she moves!

I probably couldn’t see ya for the hair in my eyes!!

  18. nancyleeould says:

It is….I love that little boat…it really scoots along.

  19. PappyStu says:

Looked like good water conditions… 125 Merc?

Don’t know how I missed ya on the water *wink*

  20. PhilosopherFresh says:

    whoa! looks like super fun!

  21. nancyleeould says:

It was a blast. I know what you mean…but I also realize muskie fin prints are much larger and easier to detect in the variation of soil conditions in this warm water bay…water temps having much to do with the soil and being able to detect the fin prints. :-)
    Thanks for watching!

  22. nancyleeould says:

Oh I want to go again Michael!!
But it won’t warm up…..dang weather.

    Thanks and hugs.

  23. nancyleeould says:

Oh yes,…I held on real tight to that wheel..LOL.
I was afraid to let go with one hand and push the throttle. But when I did…wheeeee…..such fun!

    Hugs.

  24. nancyleeould says:

But now you have boat hair like me Irene!! :-)

    Big hugs back at ya!

  25. nancyleeould says:

I`m not a boat specialist but I have ridden in the bass tracker boats on the lake of the Ozarks. The one I was in has removable seats except for the one lower seat but it looks like there would not be too much time involved to swap it out. So these seats could come from most any year due to Bass Tracker probably giving the buyers seat options. The best way to tell the year of anything is by looking at the vehicle identification tag or asking the owner.

Good question tho. Reminds me of one I answered about telling the years of cars by looking at the tail lights.

  27. David says:

You can tell the year by the hull ID number.

  28. Richard C says:

Bass tracker did use the same configuration and style seats for more than one year, but did change upholstery colors and patterns, so if you have identical seats it’s probable they are the same year. Also look for the pinstripe around the gunwale and decal placement. I hope this helps.

  29. Kilo says:

    Richard’s on target but

Some Boat Manufactures will assemble what is know as a parts bin boat from left over inventory. The best way to tell is to look for the hull number in the upper right corner of the transom(just to the right of the outboard) the last two numbers are the year of manufacture.
