Lowes and Triton also make some entry priced boats. Those 4 fairly significantly round out the lower finish cost spectrum. All are very good boats. Most models in a cheaper bass boat are going to be aluminum. If you want a fiberglass, you will require to expand your price range. I have owned each aluminum and glass bass boats, and there is a plus and minus side to each. Glass, becoming a heavier material, provides you far more stability in rough water. Aluminum, drafts less, and effortlessly repaired if damaged. All for all, I would go with a aluminum, for just getting a much better multi use platform. Positive your aluminum won’t go as fast, and be a bit rougher ride, but I just appear to like them better for multi species. Glass you have to be concerned about scratchin it, etc. Now your die difficult bass anglers will tell you they want that glass so they can place 250hp on the back. That mentioned, I have never ever seen any person catch a fish operating 70 miles an hour. Take my words for what they are worth. -B-

Lund makes an excellent bass boat and is easy on the pocketbook. Another good one is Crestliner.
Here is what I did to find a cheaper bass boat, I went to my search engine and typed in cheap bass boats for sale, I didn’t care about the brand name I just didn’t want to spend a lot of money, as I know there are a lot of brand name Bass boats out there.
I ended up at iboats.com looked in there classifieds and thats were I found my Bass boat,
2002 Ranger 175vs (17′ 5″) with a 125 Mercury motor 4 blade S/S prop, 3 fish finders 1 with GPS, 5speed 101 thrust MinnKota trolling motor, and trailer w/ spare tire,tires brand new. And more.
All this cost me $ 8995.00 Tax, Tag, Title
List price for this boat is around $ 18000.00 per NADA. (NADA is what car and boat dealers use for pricing).
So just search the web I’m glad I did and you’ll find that theres a lot of brand name boats.
